Residential Interior Painting

Interior Painting

Here at Proview Home Services LLC, we have helped countless homeowners with adding a fresh coat of paint inside their living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, family rooms, finished basements, and so on. Regardless of whether you need our help with one room or the whole home, we are the company to call. We have been working in the north Atlanta area for years now, and we are eager to help you next. We guarantee that you and your family will be 100% satisfied with our services, and if you aren't, let us know so we can make it "right."

Before the project begins, we will be sure to sit down with you and discuss one-on-one what your goals are with the job. We want to be sure that you are getting the look you have always dreamed of having inside your home. Our color specialists will be able to help you choose the perfect complementary colors that will blend well from room to room. This is important because you don't want one room clashing with another - i.e. golden rod walls in the kitchen and magenta walls in the living room! It is our goal to provide you with satisfactory work.

The Process

First, we will need to set up the work area. Furniture and other personal belongings will either need to be removed from the room, or moved to the central part of the room and covered completely with a drop cloth. Plastic sheeting will also be placed on the floors and special tape will be used along baseboards and window frames to prevent the new paint from getting on them. Next, we will fill in holes or cracks in the ceilings and walls to be sure that our materials don't get inside them during the job. We will also prepare surfaces by sanding and priming them. Once this prep work is complete, we can begin painting. We only make use of premium quality materials that are guaranteed to last. This way, you don't have to worry about having us come back out any time soon to do any touch-ups or entire wall painting. Once all work is complete, we will clean up the job site and let you visually inspect the work. Let us know if there are any problem areas and we can take care of it on the spot.

How often should you paint the inside of your home?

This depends on the quality of paint that was used during the last coat. If it was of poor quality, then you are likely going to need touch-ups or an entire room repainted in the not too distant future. Additionally, if there is a lot of traffic in one part of your home, this area is likely going to need more attention than a room you hardly use. Also, if there are smokers in the home, you are likely to need a new coat sooner than a home that doesn't have anyone who smokes inside.

How will my furniture and other items be protected?

We will be sure that they are covered in plastic or removed entirely from the room.

What kind of prep work will be done?

If you have any holes or cracks in walls, they will be filled in before the work begins. Additional caulking may be needed around window and door frames to prevent materials from getting inside during the project. Nail pops are repaired. Water stains are removed. Crayon and marker stains will be scraped and sanded. The surfaces will be cleaned off and primed before we start any work. This is to ensure that your new coat looks beautiful and lasts for many years to come.
